Oct 12th – A week

Good day everyone. The produce has just arrived.

Vegetables

  • 1 baby pumpkin
  • 1 (crazy) gourd
  • 1 bunch parsley
  • 1 bunch radishes
  • 1 bunch red leaf lettuce
  • 1 cauliflower
  • 2 Green Zuccinis
  • 1 bunch scallions
  • 1/2 lb tomatillos
  • 1/2 lb Serrano peppers
  • 1 red pepper
  • 1 bunch beets
  • 1 bunch carrots

Eggs – one dozen delicious eggs from free range happy hens.

Fruit

  • Pears
  • Red delicious apples
  • Gorgeous Gala apples
  • Yellow apples
  • Red apples

If anyone is an apple expert – be great to get your varietal input!

  1. Are the gourds edible? My brief online research indicates that they’re mainly decorative…Would love some guidance!

  2. Well, to answer my own question, these were at the USG today labeled “decorative gourds” so I guess that ours will remain for display only. I’m assuming/hoping that at least the tiny pumpkin is edible!
